WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in the Triune Godhead – God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit – as the one and only true God that governs this universe and rules in the affairs of men. It is to God that we owe our allegiance and praise.
We believe in Salvation by grace through faith, plus nothing. Repentance must come before (or at the same time) faith is shown that brings God’s grace and mercy by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the believer’s baptism is a must for an obedient Christian life but has no efficacy for salvation. Every Christian should strive to be obedient, sanctified (separated), and filled with the Holy Spirit in their daily walk.
We believe the Spiritual gifts of I Corinthians 12 & 13 are not valid for the Christian today. As I Corinthians 13 states, there came a time (by the completion of the canon) when those gifts were no longer needed or valid. It is for this reason we do NOT condone the Charismatic movement of today being Scriptural in anyway. I Corinthians 13:8 “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. (v. 9), For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. (v. 10), But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.”
We believe the Devil is a real person and should be resisted steadfastly by prayer and staying as close to God and His Will as is possible.
We believe in the return of the Lord in the air, to catch away His Saints, is imminent; it must happen before the Great Tribulation Period: He is coming back to the earth with His Saints after – the end of - the Tribulation Period. We need to be always ready for “… IN SUCH AN HOUR AS YE THINK NOT THE SON OF MAN COMETH.”
